Back for the second year, the two-day Healthy Living Festival @ North West held on 1-2 June 2024 at the Yishun Sports Centre was packed with sports and wellness activities for residents of all ages. The aim? To encourage residents to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Let’s check out what some participants did.
Fitness and family fun while building bonds
Kuldeep Rana attended the event with his family, finding it a fantastic opportunity to bond while staying active together.
What kept the family busy?
The kids had a blast trying out games such as the ring toss and basketball at the inflatable game booths and participating in the tyre run and other activities at the sports try-outs. Meanwhile, Kuldeep lined up some high-energy activities to enhance his cardio fitness and endurance.

Getting fired up with energetic workouts
For friends Toh Yue Qing and Toh Shinni, both 34, the Healthy Living Festival offered them a chance to try out the high-intensity workouts offered by the North West FitnessX Club.
Which sports try-outs did they do?
Yue Qing opted for a blend of high-intensity fitness and traditional fun.

Which North West Healthy Living Club would they join?
Up for a challenge, the friends said they would be keen to check out the North West FitnessX Club which offers these high-intensity workouts: HIIT, Fight Do, K-pop Fitness, and Zumba.
Staying fulfilled by keeping active
Lily Ng, 62, is a member of the North West Running Club, North West Brisk Walking Club, and North West FitnessX Club. This role model enthusiastically embraced various fitness activities at the Healthy Living Festival.
What did she do?
Lily started her action-packed day with an energetic run before participating in the various taster classes offered by the North West FitnessX Club.

The fun vibe of the Zumba classes and the intensity of the Fight-Do class.
