Mental Wellness @ North West
Mental Wellness @ North West is part of the CDC's Healthy Living @ North West programmes in promoting holistic wellness. Launched in 2021, the initiative aims to raise awareness of mental wellness in the community.
The programme brings together healthcare experts, community and corporate partners, and fellow residents to build up a mental wellness support network through various programmes In collaboration with PsyConnect-a psychology student interest group comprising undergraduates and alumni from SUSS, the Mental Wellness Toolkit was developed. This toolkit serves as a resource guide for caregivers and residents to better understand mental health conditions and identify available resources within the North West District.

To encourage ground-up initiatives that promote mental well-being in the community, community organisations may apply for the North West WeCare Fund to support event expenses.
Launched in 2024, Mental Wellness Day @ North West is a flagship event designed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in the community. North West CDC partnered with healthcare experts, community and corporate partners to conduct workshops and set up booths to educate participants about mental health, reduce stigma, and encourage open discussions.
