Recycle @ North West

Recycle @ North West (Schools) partners schools in the North West District to cultivate good recycling habits from a young age. Schools set up recycling points where students collect and sort recyclables at least once a month, gaining hands-on experience in resource conservation and environmental responsibility. Schools are also encouraged to take part in annual e-waste recycling initiatives.
The programme is supported by waste management partners appointed by NEA. ALBA provides both recycling and e-waste bins, while Cora Environment provides recycling bins. They manage the collection and logistics from school recycling points, with tonnage reports used to determine incentives for participating schools.
Beyond recycling drives, educational talks and a Train-the-Trainer programme equip students and educators with knowledge on sustainability. Schools are encouraged to organise their own workshops or sustainability initiatives, fostering a culture of student-led green action.
